The Beginnings
Kim Robinson starts his career at age 14, training at the Australian Institute of Technology.

Kim leaves Australia for the United Kingdom to train with the late renowned British hairstylist, Vidal Sassoon.
The Paris & Milan Years
Following his stint in London, Kim goes on to work for famous hair artists Alexandre De Paris and Aldo Coppola for 20 years. There, he learns the art of haute coiffure and creates couture-like hairstyles for fashion houses including Chanel, Dior, Balmain, Lanvin, Givenchy and Valentino—each playing a vital step in shaping Kim’s mission to deliver incredible beauty to women.
Opening Up in Asia
In 1981, Kim opens Le Salon Orient in Hong Kong, a one-stop beauty emporium that offers hair, nails and face treatments to Asia’s top discerning women.
Kim expands to Singapore in 1995, opening his first salon at Ngee Ann City. The salon and his team amass a prestigious following of the city’s most influential and affluent.
